According to a report, Gilbert suffered the injury this week and is expected to miss six to eight weeks. The 6-4, 255-pound junior, who leads the Badgers in sacks with three, forces defensive line coach Charlie Partridge to adjust his rotation. Junior Brendan Kelly will likely start in Gilbert's place, though sophomore Pat Muldoon could also get the nod as well. Muldoon missed the game against Northern Illinois two weeks ago with a dislocated elbow but returned on a limited basis last week. Source nationalfootballpost.com | | |
