Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema provided injury updates after practice Tuesday and the news wasn’t good for sophomore Manasseh Garner. Garner, vying for the No. 3 wide receiver spot, is expected to miss three to four weeks because of a hernia. He probably will miss the opener Sept. 1 against Nevada-Las Vegas. “There is a very good chance he’ll be back in the second game,” Bielema said. UW hosts Oregon State on Sept. 10. Despite the surgery, Garner will remain on the 105-player roster for camp so he can at least attend practice. “The surgery will be done tomorrow,” Bielema said. “They expect him up and moving by Thursday.”
