| Falcons SS William Moore Questionable To Return With Groin Injury Falcons starting safety William Moore is questionable to return to Sunday's NFC Wild Card Game against the New York Giants after leaving with a groin injury early during the first quarter. Backup James Sanders has replaced Moore in the Falcons' lineup. Moore later left the sideline, walking under his own power, with a member of the team's medical staff. The Falcons began the game down two defensive starters when it was announced that cornerback Brent Grimes (knee) and linebacker Stephen Nicholas (toe) wouldn't play. Grimes was previously listed as questionable, and Nicholas was doubtful. Source: NFL.com |
