| Cardinals Fear OT Levi Brown Could Be Done For The Year Cardinals starting left tackle Levi Brown tore his triceps in the team’s preseason game Friday night and could miss the rest of the season, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday. Schefter reported that Brown was scheduled to undergo an MRI on Saturday morning to determine the extent of the injury. Brown is expected to miss at least three months, and the MRI results will determine whether he’ll need to sit out the season, according to the report. The injury occurred in the second quarter of the Cardinals' 31-27 preseason victory over the Raiders. The loss of Brown, who has started every game the past two years, is a major blow to the Cardinals. "He's probably our most vocal and hard-working leader we had on our offense," center Lyle Sendlein told the Arizona Republic. "It's not like you can just call 1-800-left tackle. It's the most important position on the offensive line. We're just hoping that everything is all right." Source: Sporting News |
