McFadden wants to make Steelers pay

Cornerback Bryant McFadden was the Steelers' second-round draft pick in 2005. McFadden is entering the final year of his contract and has retained the one and only Drew Rosenhaus to broker a new deal.


Be afraid Steelers fans, be very afraid.

McFadden's agent change is one of the most important developments facing the Steelers this offseason.

Rosenhaus is a squeaky wheel among NFL agents. He has a track record for bringing attention to himself and securing big money for his clients.

I don't have a problem paying McFadden...IF...he can prove himself this season. He hasn't been anything really above the ordinary. So for now...here's to you Rosenhaus...

rosenhaus is a good agent....mcfadden wont demand top dollar, and everytime DR is hired its blown way out of porportion. i hope we keep him but he cant demand to much, hes not even a starter...if you cant beat deshea fucking townsend out of a job...your fighting an uphill battle to get paid

rosenhaus is actually an awesome agent....stories like this get blown way out of porportion cause of clients like TO, overall hes pretty easy to work with and a fair agent....the rooneys dont mind working with him at all, hes timmons and davenports agent too.

i love mcfadden, but hes gonna need to beat out townsend this year

Yea him and Deshea are pretty close in skill, I'm glad to have both on the team to play 2nd cb, If Ike Taylor could actually catch the ball he'd easily be a top cb in the league he makes great plays on the ball and is often times in position.

i cant knock ike to much, he does his job....i scream when he drops them but at least hes nasty in coverage. Deshea is a nasty nickleback and if bmac cant push him out of the starting spot....which i think he gets with seniority anyway....we'll have a nasty set of corners

I agree. I like Ike a lot. But he's got to hang onto the ball...but then if he had hands as the old saying goes, he'd be playing WR. I like Deshea. he hasn't been too bad as a CB...but he's getting up there in age and I'd love to see McFadden step it up. He's been good when he's in there, I'd like to see more consistency from him before we pay him...

It don't matter what agent you get if you don't make your mark as a player a owner isn't gonna give you the big money no matter who is representing you. Joey Harrington could have DR as an agent, but do you think someone is gonna give him millions of dollars to play for them?
