7 239 Ah You, C.J. DE 6-4 274 Oklahoma
Its a very odd draft to me i love the first two picks as they fill big holed with great players i was really surprised to see pos not in the first round. Then they drafted Edwards and it kinda puzzled me because losman is still young and showed some things last year. Dwayne Wright is a guy i love he runs like Frank Gore and also tore his acl and then had a good senior year but why a second running back? John Wendling is a great pick in the 6th alot of us saw him as a day one guy hes good in coverage and should help them immediatly. Then they took Schouman who is sorta small for a FB and to big for RB i dont know why they took him. CJ A You is a 7th round gamble hes inconsistant and hopefully with some good coaching he will be a good backup dont ever see him starting. The one thing that i didnt really get is that they drafted no CB at all Ashton Youboughty is still young but after him and mcgee there isnt anything and for that it drops there grade a little bit

7 238 Wright, Abraham DE 6-2 234 Colorado
I hate their draft they passed on quinn with no guarantee for Beck(who will be 26 at the start of the season) They reached beyond belief for A
PR. They had two great picks that saved this draft from being a F and those picks were Samson Satele who will be a great C and can also play G if needed hes big and strong. The other pick was Paul Solali who can be a great replace for Keith Traylor who is 36 years old right now. Wildcard pick is Reagan Mauia who is built like a tank.

7 211 Lua, Oscar ILB 6-1 245 Southern California
7 247 Elgin, Mike G 6-3 291 Iowa
also traded for Randy Moss
They took a gamble on Meriweather hopefully it pans out. they got another first next year. Kareem Brown is not my favorite 3-4 DE prospect but at 127 its a solid pick. Corey Hilliard can be a manageable T possibly just a great back up not starter. Oscar Lua has the size to play in the 3-4 but not really the talent hopefully they can make him a good 3-4 ILB they done it before with guys with less talent

6 177 Bender, Jacob OT 6-6 316 Nicholls State
7 235 Stuckey, Chansi WR 5-10 185 Clemson
I really like what they did here they traded up to get two guys they wanted one that will play ILB and start almost immediatly and they got a starting CB and the best CB in the draft in Revis. Bender is a small school T but has good size and with good coaching who knows what he could do. In the 7th they got a steal with Stuckey i think hes going to be good.

6 175 O'Neal, Oren FB 6-0 244 Arkansas State
7 254 Holland, Johnathan WR 6-0 191 Louisiana Tech
i hate there draft alot only one good pick and that was bush in the 4th. Jamarcus Russell will not be the better pro he may have the arm strength but at Oakland when is he going to have time to use it unless they signed someone who runs a sub 2 second 80 yard dash. Tony Ugoh and several other very good offensive lineman were on the board and they took Miller? Henderson is not my favorite T i dont think hes first day worthy. Mosez has alot of talent but he looks almost uncoachable good luck with that Raiders. Higgins is a solid pick up as well. Also trading away Randy Moss for David Bowie hope that works out yeah right. If you thought you were going to trade moss get CJ and then beck in the second

6 196 Taylor, Herbert OT 6-4 296 Texas Christian
7 231 Allan, Michael TE 6-6 255 Whitworth
Bowe will be a starter from day one. McBride is a good UT and Tank Tyler should be a good NT Both will start ASAP. Kolby Smith is a good backup RB. The K choice was odd to me i thought Crosby was the better K but they went medlock. Taylor is one of those picks that makes you go finally they went OLINE

1 17 Moss, Jarvis DE 6-6 251 Florida
2 56 Crowder, Tim DE 6-4 271 Texas
3 70 Harris, Ryan OT 6-5 299 Notre Dame
4 121 Thomas, Marcus DT 6-3 296 Florida
Im not big on Moss as a 4-3 DE and Crowder may be good but thats a question mark pick to me as they have Dummerville for one spot so are they maybe going to try moss out at OLB or what? This may all come clearer at the beginning of the season but right now i got questions about 2 straight DEs. Harris 70 overall was probably a little early for him but they do need some depth on that line. Another Dline pick with the very Questionable Marcus Thomas great talent no brains off the field. Fairly solid draft

5 172 Naanee, Legedu WR 6-2 225 Boise State
7 240 Siler, Brandon ILB 6-2 238 Florida
Once again San Diego has a fantastic draft Davis may have been a reach with all the other good recievers on the team but hes not to much of a reach to say it was a bad pick. Trading all those picks for Weddle was genious you shored up one of your biggest holes in the secondary and got a very versatile player. Anthony Waters makes me hate the chargers even more they got 2 potentially Great ILBs in Waters and Siler the steal of the draft if he can stay healthy i love this draft.

7 230 Santucci, Dan G 6-3 296 Notre Dame
7 253 Ndukwe, Nedu SS 6-2 206 Notre Dame
I dont expect Ndukwe to make the team i think he is garbage. Jonathan Joseph and Deltha Oneal are very solid so i think Hall comes in as a NB and i think they probably should have went Beason instead i dont like their current LBs. Love the Irons and White picks they will depth problems and Irons and Johnson can be a great tandem. Santucci isnt really a guy i paid attention to but it looks like he has alot of upside.

5 174 Smith, Troy QB 6-1 213 Ohio State
6 207 Burgess, Prescott OLB 6-3 235 Michigan
I love the Grubbs pick but then they also got yanda who im assuming they are going to try at OT(if he can bulk up)Yamon Figures was a complete reach but they needed a KR/
PR and he fits that build. Antwan Barnes is very fast but is not that talented but im sure Baltimore will find a way to use him. Leron Mclain was a good FB pickup. Troy Smith in the late 5th was a steal(yes i said it) he didnt deserve to be first day pick but i thought he was still a 4th round prospect i think he can learn from McNair and possibly be the ravens starter after McNair. Prescott was a guy i liked in college he just played and played good i wasnt surprised to see him go in the 6th but i think hes much better then a 6th

7 213 Pittman, Chase DE 6-5 273 Louisiana State
7 234 Steptoe, Syndric WR 5-9 194 Arizona
Probably the best first day in football(maybe). Got a Franchise LT and QB. Eric Wright is a first round talent just hopefully he doesnt keep 137 hits of X in his apartment this time. Purcell is a ok 3-4 de prospect but he cannot hold up against two blockers(maybe coaching can help). Chase Pittman will be moving to OLB in their 3-4. Steptoe is going to be nothing more then a
PR/KR.

5 170 Gay, William CB 5-10 187 Louisville
7 227 Baker, Dallas WR 6-3 207 Florida
A very underrated draft. Woodley and Timmons could come in and start from day one, Woodley at ROLB and Timmons at LOLB. Matt Spaeth has tremendous size but Heath Miller was looking pretty good. Sepulveda will be replacing the ageless Gardocki(37) so that was a very good pickup. Ryan McBean can possibly become a good 3-4 DE. Dallas Baker was a guy i liked alot and if he had been more consistant then he would be a early second day pick but he has talent.

6 183 Studdard, Kasey G 6-2 307 Texas
7 218 Diles, Zach ILB 6-0 240 Kansas State
well i guess you count matt schaub into this draft considering he was a trade i think houston massively overpaid for him but they still got there guy in Okoye. Jacoby Jones will improve their ST from day one. Fred Bennett will be starting at NB and be fairly effective. Harrison adds depth and competion at the SS spot. Brandon Frye can play G or T so he will be like Adam Synder for them. Studdard is for depth and competion. Diles is probably just camp fodder.

7 242 Dawson, Keyunta DE 6-1 272 Texas Tech
I think AG was drafted a little ahead of where he should have gone. They must have been very high on ugoh to pull off that trade good move though Ugoh should be very good. May what a fall hughes had i mean going from top 15 to 95 is not something to be proud of even Moses didnt fall that far one word though STEAL for the colts. Pitcock is more suited for a 3-4 but he should help there run defense at least. Clint Session was overdrafted and Michael Coe is a guy i like so he was a good pick and hes versatile. Dawson is a little undersized but Colts dont mind undersized for there line.

moving back and they still got there guy Nelson will start ASAP. Justin Durant went a round earlier then i thought he would. Walker was a solid pick. Podlesh is a great punter. Josh Gattis was a steal in the 5th. Derek Landri is very undersized for a DT but should provide good depth

wow what were they thinking. First they draft at a position they dont have that huge of a need Thompson is pretty good but they had far more pressing needs they should have went Meachem here. They overdrafted Henry who is basically fast with a thick frame but slow to recognize the holes. Paul Williams is good were they picked him but they needed something better. Johnson was a fantastic pick hes a hard worker and will be very good against the run from day one. Filani is a TT reciever they always have huge college numbers but they never really translate to the NFL. Otto was a good pickup at 223.
