Edwards returns to his former team. Is it a worry for the Chiefs (and their fans) that this is another veteran signing on a team carrying quite a few veterans?

And where does he fit? Not in the middle with Napoleon Harris and Kawika Mitchell. Outside? You have Derrick Johnson, Kendrell Bell and Keyaron Fox. I guess he's going to rotate in and out on passing downs??? That's the only role I see him fitting in.

I see Bell as having a more limited role, maybe even putting his hand on the dirt sometimes and Edwards taking one of the OLB spots more full time. Don't forget, itchell is still a free agent (I think) so there could yet be a spot open up in the middle.

Edwards should be a solid Cover 2 LB. Good pickup by the Chiefs.
