Patriots RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis' Uncle Is Willing To Bet $5 Million On The Patriots

Quote:
Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams, the owner of Cash Money Records and uncle of New England Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, is willing to lay down $5 million against anyone who thinks the New York Giants will win the Super Bowl.

Ron Borges of the Boston Herald picked up on the story, and predictably got stonewalled. Green-Ellis refused to speak about his uncle and there are a few anecdotes about how the bet won’t add pressure to the team.

Offensive lineman Matt Light did, however, offer an interesting take.

"Obviously, Benny can't get involved," Light said, "but I hope his uncle takes him out to dinner if we win."
