Colts What's Peyton Manning's Place In History If He Has To Retire Now?

Great article this morning in the Washington Post from Michael Kun on what if the end is here for Peyton Manning. It got me wondering that Manning is definetly one of the all time best QB's. But where do our members rank him...and if he isn't #1, who is better than him and why?

Check out the article: What if this is it for Peyton Manning? - The League - The Washington Post

And feel free to pop your vote and comments. Here's my top 5:

1. John Elway
2. Johnny Unitas
3. Peyton Manning
4. Dan Marino
5. Joe Montana

Really interesting topic. I know I'm going to get blasted for being a homer, but here's my list.

1A. Peyton Manning
1B. Tom Brady
3. John Elway
4. Joe Montana
5. Johnny Unitas

I don't think Peyton's career is over. It would be a real shame if it is. The Colts have been the biggest rival of the Pats, and I hate the team. But I like and respect Peyton Manning as much, if not more than, any other player in the league.

It's so hard, I put him as #1 though.

#1 Manning
#2 Marino
#3 Montana
#4 Elway
#5 Favre
#6 Kelly
#7 Brady

That's just me personally, from the quarterbacks I've actually had the chance of watching, especially seeing their entire career, or most of it.
