Bengals Mr. D's Prediction For The Bengals 2010 Season

Cincinnati Bengals 2010 Schedule

Week 1: at - Welker back? will he produce like before, how about Brady, this may be a tough game if the Patriots are healthy. Bengals need to be healthy as well or this won't be a good start coming off the heels of a bad ending of last season. Gut feeling? Both teams are looking to bounce back. but if Brady and Welker are healthy this may turn for the worse. I'll give this one to the Patriots. (Bengals Lose) Bengals 0-1-0
Week 2: vs - with The First week behind them, look for the Bengals to bring the Pain as Division Rival Baltimore Ravens come to Paul Brown Stadium, expect the same results as last year. Don't get me wrong I don't expect a Division Sweep again, but if any of the other three teams can stop it, The Ravens have the best chance I think, but Not at home. Baltimore has stepped up a few good transactions so have the Bengals. (Bengals Win) Bengals 1-1-0
Week 3: at - Bengals Defense should show the Panthers Matt Moore a nice and rough game (Bengals Win) Bengals 2-1-0
Week 4: at - Said it before and I'll say it again (except with different names lol) no matter Delhome or Wallace or even McCoy it don't matter who they start, it's just going to be another Flush of the Browns (Bengals win) Bengals 3-1-0
Week 5: vs - Bengals come into Tampa with a nice 2 or 3 game win streak (Pending on the Raven game). (Bengals Win) Bengals 4-1-0
Week 6: Bye
Week 7: at - I'm not worried, not to worried about Matt, he can have his good games and bad, this may be a high flying game. That being said I trust my Bengals to keep up the momentum (Bengals win) Bengals 5-1-0
Week 8: vs - Palmer vs the Next Marino? I don't find the Dolphins much of a threat but things can surprise everyone I will give this one to the Bengals. (Bengals Win) Bengals 6-1-0
Week 9: vs - Monday Night Football, Bengals Hosting the Steelers who are looking for some revenge after last seasons sweep, likelyhood of a repeat AFC North Sweep not very good. But I am willing to believe the Bengals Defense to welcome Ben Back with a bang. (Bengals win) Bengals 7-1-0
Week 10: at - Manning may be the one man to deter the pattern of the Super Bowl Losing teams. that being said this should be a air game, I can only hope I'm wrong when I say this. as much as I like Palmer, he still isn't Manning (Bengals Lose) Bengals 7-2-0
Week 11: vs - Needless to say The Bills are the Bills, and as of late they ain't nothing to brag about. even though they seem to give the Bengals some trouble now and then I still can't give them the win, WHO DEY!. (Bengals win) Bengals 8-2-0
Week 12: at - Thanksgiving, and the Bengals get some air time again. as much as many people are drinking the Jet Kool-Aid I'm not buying it. I won't look past the Jets, especially with two good pick up's Expect the Bengals to get some well needed paybacks (Bengals Win) Bengals 9-2-0
Week 13: vs - Saint's on a high who knows if they still will be by Week 13. this should be one of the Bengals toughest match ups last match up it was a close call but Palmer held through and took the Bengals onto victory, I can see that again (Bengals win) Bengals 10-2-0
Week 14: at - As I said before I don't expect a Division Sweep to happen again. It may be a toss up but I'll give this one to the Steelers. (Bengals Lose) Bengals 10-3-0
Week 15: vs - Damn them Browns, wrong place, wrong time, off the heels of a Loss to the Steelers, Bengals will love to flush the Browns for a second time this season (Bengals Win) Bengals 11-3-0
Week 16: vs - Santa is coming to town. so is Mr. D and Leo, Sunday Night a late Christmas Present to The Bengals, it's time to bring some pain to San Diego. (Bengals win) Bengals 12-3-0
Week 17: at - I believe the Ravens will still be fighting for a spot in the playoffs while The Bengals should have the Division by this week. with more on the line and The Ravens thrive on that. I must give this to the Ravens (hope I'm wrong) (Bengals Lose) Bengals 12-4-0

That being said I wouldn't be to shocked with an upset game here or a surprise win there.

The Bengals will be good this year, should contend for a Super Bowl, but I can't see them at 12 wins, especially undefeated at home. I'd say 10 is very likely, with an added loss to either the Phins or the Saints in Cinci, and the Jets in New York. Definitely a very favorable first half schedule, though. There shouldn't be any problem getting enough wins there to carry you easily into the playoffs.

The bungles still have issues with the o-line. not to mention how poor their passing game is even with TO. I don't see a playoff birth. Because I see the Bungles Winning 9 games and I don't see that taking a playoff spot.

Bengals could make a run for the playoffs and the division, but I don't see them winning 12.

I didn't even realize I did that on there home games lol, but anyways as I said I'm never perfect with my predictions, I can see the Dolphins and or the Saints game going the other way as well, just going with the flow of what I was thinking at the time lol

as far as mj goes sorry no problems in the passing game, the OL may need to step up better but TO was showing nice and strong in the little time he was on there.

we will win the Division so that in itself will secure a Playoff Berth :)

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't win 12 I'm just a bit optimistic really when it comes that far lol

obviously this thread is on the optimistic side of things. i can't imagine the bengals playing much better defense than they did last year so the only way this is going to happen is if palmer plays his ass off and immediately clicks with owens and gresham. if their passing game starts clicking and takes pressure off their running game and their defense continues to play at a high level, i could see them winning 12 games.
